Imageshack is for sure a long term plan.. soon they will introduce more and more paying options IMO.. anyway they got ads to get some minor money and ppl can pay the credits to upload pics in zip files..
Anyway, it is almost sure that one day the free service will stop.. either you won't be able to upload anymore but the old pics will stay, either they wil be removed..
lately they added a feature when you view a pic where you can describe it.. their aim is "to build the biggest pictures archive in the world"...
anyway no big deal if it will ever go down, we will find another way 
And to avoid beeing totally OT, a DB7
