Sorry gis but I must agree with SDK2003. A saxo is good quality for money, the suspension is good for a little car and it's very nimble. The VTS 120hp version is certainly a beast for it's size and will beat a lot of car's with much more hp's. But sorry the interior isn't very good up to my oppinion. With a 120hp version, without the extra's you still get the standard plastic steering wheel. And that steering wheel is slippy, you should know, you drive one all day. Don't get me wrong I would like to have a VTS one day, but I just don't like the standard interior.
And by the way, I love the S2000, for that kinda money you get a real sportscar with pretty good confort and luxery. I think the VX-220 is very nice too, but you can hardly use that often. That's more a second car when you allready got a nice first car to use everyday. That's like clarckson sayed in his Top 100 car DVD, he loves the elise, but you can do everything it does (ok, it's 0,5sec slower to 100 = so what) with the S2000 and have more confort.

to tell u the truth i didnt get the saxo for its interior,i got it for a nippy little car with cheapish insurance for my first car
interior doesnt really bother me,as long as i have a seat stuck down properly and a seat belt i dont really care.everythin else on the car is great, engine, suspension etc

With the amount of money for that swap, you could praticlly bring a whole skyline here and make it legal.

When it was all done, I think it cost something like $20k. Not a whole lot, but quite a bit for just an engine swap. It's very unique though. Just a guess, but I bet there isn't more than 10 people that have done the swap in the US.

i know about 3 or 4 rb26dett Z's in the states. all post at www.hybridz.org. it is an expensive project. the block itself runs like 7K, then you have to worry about tranny, wiring, yadda yadda....but the guys who have it done love it. when you're running 10's, you cant complain. i get my digi vid cam this weekend, so videos of my Z will be coming soon. along with some videos of my friends 300ZXTT and maybe some vids of my 240ZTT(that he did himself). i'll keep you all posted. and here's some pics of Z's with rb26dett
sorry this one is so big...
