Thank you soooo much st-anger for the SA test. Interesting the 996 seems to real perform better than the 993 in both the fast sweepers and tight corners. I guess that is to be expected based on the suspension improvements. But the difference was really amazing.
Take for example Klostertal 1 (996 176 km/hr vs 993 164 km/hr) and Galgenkopf (996 140 km/hr vs 993 129 km/hr). Those are some huge differnces especially given that the suspension of the 996, as I understand it, is a refinement and not an entirely new suspension.

It's a question of personal choice. For my part I like it, especially with those rear tyres 345/25 on 20inch rims.

Hey that's my Grandma your talking about, LOL . I think she is looking at a CTR 2, which is Rufs biggest disaster IMO. I still can't understand how such a great company like Ruf could take Porsche's best looking design (993) of the 911, and turn it into the ugliest looking 911 derivative of all time (CTR 2).
Thanks for the RT12 photos. I think I like it better than the Rturbo 996. I can't wait for the test results. I'm wondering if SA will test it. I am sure they will but I have never seen any Supertest for a Ruf yet, although I have seen them for other turners.
If anyone has a SA Supertest for any Ruf I would love to have it.

Wow, that GT2 RS is really wild. Huuge wing, though I'm sure it needs it. I also like how the intakes are part of the rear spoiler. Very aggressive and very good looking overall .... any high res pics?
