Kimber 1911 .45 Custom II There isbonus to the Kimbers as they make a rimfire conversion as well. it's a new slide, barrel and magazine to shoot .22 and .17 Mach 2 ammo

A friend is trying to get me to buy his Taurus 1911 .45 ACP that he just bought just a few weeks ago. The finish is already coming off of the damn thing. It's fixable, but it being a brand new gun, it's going ot have a few problems. Not sure I want to deal with it. Overall it's a nice gun though.

No, it isn't. Anyone with a VISA to live in the US can legally own firearms as long as they don't have a criminal record. Not that answering someone's questions gives me an "unhealthy fascination" with firearms.
