found a vid from the porsche power & snow event organized from porsche austria. one of the instructors was walter röhrl. all persons who joined the event had the chance to drive in a porsche with walter röhrl driving on a snowy street trough the forrest.
i know a guy who joined this event. they'll get a dvd from the event, maybe i'll get a copy of it....

Nice article st-anger of the 911R. Amazing how light the car was and the performance it was capable of because of the low weight.

It would be interesting to see what kinds of cornering speeds the car would be capable of it were equipped with modern tires against say a GT3. Obviously the advanced suspensions of new models would provide an edge but I wonder if the lighter weight would allow the 911R to make it interesting .

Clash of the Titans

The 993 GT2 was the emperor of aggressive 911s. Now there’s a new kid on the block intent on taking its crown. It’s a bit like Star Wars, only with Porsches.

I'm looking forward to the eventual launch of the 997GT2 - will it better this in non-tweaked, original condition?
