hmmm,so do u think it would be a wise decision for "investment" wise,to purchase that ferrari schumacher model i saw at the shop i go to?

i say go for it, if its manufactured by a respectable company, theres no reason why the price won't go up in the future. you only just need to look at senna cars. i haven't seen any decent models that are less than $1000AUD.

also try and look for the one with best condition. ie the decals line up properly, no paint defects. i'm really picky. because any slight defect loses value.

a thought occured to me. wax the transparent lid!!! if its really bad, polish them first. wash the lid in detergent so you wash the dust off first. otherwise you'll be rubbing dust with the polish/wax and that just scratches it.

if you see a scratches after waxing then probably you're not using the right applicator. your auto store should have some. don't go for cheap stuff because its not worth it. i use stuff from Sonax. Mother's polish and wax. make sure its the Carnuba wax.

oh and you don't need to rub hard. it should work because thats how i get fingerprints off the clear plastic that is the windows on my tamiya kits.

It depends on how deep the scratch is I think. If only the transparant top coating is scratched you could try polishing it. If the scratch is deeper and has damaged the red (I assume) paint it's difficult to fix. You could try it with a thin brush and red paint that comes close to the original colour. It won't make it disappear, but it will make it less conspicuous. I'd try polishing it first.

show us a pic of it if you have a camera. because if its quite deep, you'll be polishing forever. you may have to sand it first.

its like putty for paint. put it on to fill in the scratch and polish it to smooth it out.

oh I forgot...I was finally able to find a 1/18 Ferrari Enzo model in Nicaragua...it's a Hot Wheels model...but I was wondering what was the difference between the 100% Hot Wheels Enzo and the Hall of Fame Enzo...if anyone has a Hot Wheels Enzo, 100% Hot Wheels or Hall of Fame...please post a pic of it...the one I found is 100% Hot Wheels...should I look for the Hall of Fame Enzo?

you may be surprised if its a ferrari colour, just check it out anyways. don't say its for your model, say its for the real car

never heard of the other one, but the hot wheels should be good.
