i dont know man...those screens look like some cobra commander type shit. Especially when you get like 32 of them together. Something straight out of a movie.

Nice monitor setup Jabba

As for the case - I would only go for the Vapochill if you plan to overclock your system. Otherwise get something else.

Like my case maybe Coolermaster 101B - available from OcUK

Temperature regulation

In order to effectively avoid moisture, small pin heaters are included in the various CPU-kits. With the possibility to manage the power output to the heaters, the user can choose an individual level of security against moisture.

The build-in features will control the performance of the cooling unit to keep a steady temperature on the CPU. If e.g. -10'C is selected the ChillControl will keep the CPU temperature as close this as possible by regulating the performance of the cooling unit.

Detailed LED for better information

Detailed LED display gives you the information you need. Select between temperatures or controlling parameters whenever you need the information just by pressing the PC's reset switch.

Windows based Control Panel
Let your surroundings benefit from the lower system noise level utilized with the ChillControl NoiseControl feature. NoiseControl enables your system fans to run in the range of 30% to 100% of nominal speed. The ever-increasing problem of computer noise is now easily addressed. With the VapoChill it is now possible to make your PC virtually silent.

The Control Panel let you control and adjust a lot of differnent noise, performance and safety features on the fly.

Here is the exact spec I have ordered but I have told them that we will need to tweek a few things before they begin work on it.

The funny thing is that you made a contest but you found both the things that you were going to buy I thought you were going to go for mine . Well anyway I am glad you found something so nice and its UK based. I honestly have never heard of them.

Well to be honest...I didn't even know this sort of stuff was available (in the case of the hoax company I guess it wasn't...LOL...)

Anyway if I hadn't seen this :

Then I wouldn't be getting the system that I have ended up with today (very similar)

So I guess I will make

Maalox the winner for providing the most information about their hardware.

Second place goes to Minacious for being the first person to post the link...I will PM them and get their details so I can get the DVD'S off to them.

Thanks very much to everyone else for all their help and time tracking items down for me SDK, SilverandColdS4 and everyone that suggested alienware etc 8) 8) 8)

The competition winners have now been asked for their address details and I am now waiting to send them their DVDs

I thought you might like to have an update on my PC build process

This is the caption that was given to this picture by savrow.com

“Note: Here you can see the top end of the top end. The PC4200 in the clear cases at the front is covered with a heavy tin plated copper heatsink (bottom middle). The Dual Raptors (bottom left) will be striped in a RAID array to provide incredible speed. The IC7-MAX3 board on the bottom right is a next generation Canterwood based board featuring some excellent cooling. To top it all off, the Vapochill XE system (top middle) featuring a refrigeration compressor unit and a unique cooling head will provide sub-zero cooling.”

“Note: First test run. Your Plutonium system is being primed for 4GHz. The initial test run enables the engineer to ascertain any early warning signals that make this processor or motherboard unsuitable for 4GHz glory. In the background notice the meticulously hand spiralled PC Power & Cooling power supply.”

Cool to be able to see the work in progress and fun to see how worried they are that somebody else can use their pics, so they stick the biggest logo on them

Yes I find the logo is quite annoying though and I am hoping the next pictures will be a lot better and we can see much more detail.
