Isn't the front the same as the regular 997 w/ Aero kit?

Yes, almost the same, only difference is the air outlet. Hope we can get this in carbon fiber as on the 996 GT2CS

Auto Zeitung, a german car magazine with good contacts to Porsche, claims in their latest issue (today) that the 997 Turbo gets 500 HP.

Pretty cool and powerful but I think it's quite a bit heavier than the ML63 and therefore actually slower.

If the Cayenne Turbo S gets 512Hp, wouldn't it be somewhat weird if the 997 Turbo would get less?

yes/no...
the Cayenne is still a heavyweight... im sure Turbo will be somewhere near that nice 3000 lb. mark.... if/when there is a GT2 however we already hear that baby in 996 trim is 500ish.

so... is this supposed to mean that the cayenne has PDK? its hard to tell from that bablefish translation...

Oh, I'm sure a less powerfull 997 Turbo would still easily beat the Cayenne, but I would be pretty pissed if some top-of-the-line Cayenne would pack more power than the regular top-of-the-line 997 (bare the GT2 and GT3, but both are really "specials" IMO)

Thx for that Porsche future model range new Dani! Very interesting.

The 911 Turbo is going to be a looker, in those recent spy pics it looks great. But I'm not so fond of the new GT3, the front spoiler looks a bit weird IMO. The new headlights don't seem to mix well with that bumper.

But worst of all is that Panamera, I sincerely doubt and hope that the final product would look anything like that. And the news that it would share a platform with VW is a bit weird too... I mean what platform would it use now the Phaeton is written off. I presume they mean an Audi platform, that wouldn't be too bad. But Porsche, plz don't mount the engine like Volkswagen does.

I'm surprised to see the new Porsche Cayenne turbo S model without the future new Cayenne facelift. Several sources in the middle of the summer 2005 advanced that.
