it does not have to be the engine, which caused the accident. IT could hae been a gearbox, the tires, or a diver error

the orange lambo one the rally overall second went to a very fast yellow enzo and third went to a white porche,

the engine he used was actually not his most highly tuned apparently. the one used was a sortsa compromise for longevity and still retaining excellent performance.
