Default Mugello Historic Festival

The first week of April held the second edition of Mugello Historic Festival, event which was used to see lots of vintage racing cars on circuit, especially Ferrari...
I must say that being a big fan of vintage cars, I wasn't very convinced of seeing cars use to circuit races with risk of damage, also seen the highest value of these cars...but...I have taught!
It been a magnificent day, with very aggressive races, divided for category and years of production.
There were Formula 1 cars, sport prototypes, GT, all vintage, mostly from the 50 to 70 years
I spent the morning inside the box, watching cars and the mechanics at work. It 'been very exciting, it seemed to be in another age!
The competitions were so many and I decided to follow mainly GT cars, especially Ferrari. Lots of masterpieces like 250 SWB, 250 GTO, Daytona and other that I hadn't seen so many all together!
I must say that the thing that I liked more was seen driving cars, very challenging and spectacular experience that today, with modern cars, you can't have. Modern cars are very stable, holding back very well, with very good cornering but seem to look at all the same...few emotions...

Well, here some shots of the day (308 pics on my website!)

More pics in hight resolution and two different size are avaiable on my website: www.italiansupercar.net
