Interesting...what's next, Half-Life......I think that will be a more believable and filmable story.

oh yeah!

i really liked final fantasy...although the animation impressed me more than the story line

I saw mario a really long time ago...i kinda remember it being really cheesy

resident evil is just an excuse to go to the movies and watch some gore

Didn't they make Duke Nukem a movie as well? I remember seeing a movie about a guy who had these sunglasses that enabled him to see through the human disguises of aliens and just went around blowing them away with a shotgun...

Super Mario Bros. was a great movie

I think Doom might make a good movie...have you played Doom 3? There's definitely a story there.

Yes! I agree on that one for sure. Those are great games, strong material for a franchise flick. Also I'm thinking Splinter Cell might be quite interesting

I'm also pretty sure there's no Duke Nukem movie...

yeah im also sure there isnt a duke nukem movie, there was talks about it though, but that was a few years back.

but like the metal gear solid ones, which as i said woudl be good as it has a storyline going over a coupel games, which is why resident evil was good IMO,i think also Halo would make a good movie, although only 2 games, the story coudl definately be made into a movie.

I don't know if you know this, but there are actually three Halo books. They're written after the game was conceived, but that's not really a problem as the games have an extremely strong storyline. After the first one came out on PC I frequented the bungie forums, and there are so many hints as the identity and origins of the Master Chief, and about the conclusions of the series. The games are inundated with clues, and unusally for a game, pretty much everything in the game contributes to the story...the characters, scenery, life forms, enemies...

I actually recall reading something about a Halo movie, slated for a 2007 release. I'm pretty sure there's no cast or director yet...
