USB keyboard problems

hi everyone, i have 2 computers at home, they are all using the black wireless keyboard from logitech..

computer 1: this morning, i turned on my computer.. my keyboard didnt work.. but ihave 2 keyboards connected , one usb, and ps2. so i just used the other one. the usb, only the internet shortcut keys worked.. so i took it apart and cleaned it. no luck. just put it aside.

computer 2: later that nite, i switched to the other computer, and yes, differant keyboard but same brand and model and the same problem. this was beginigng to freak me out.

both computers are under winXp with all the latest updates. using cable modem with linksys firewall router..

whats wrong?

and it doesnt work in the ps/2 slot either..
