You aren't possibly talking about the Sport Auto drift challenge? If yes, then I am the unluckiest guy on earth cause I MISSED THE CARRERA GT ON THE TRACK!!! (but touched it when it was at the Porsche stand )

*heul*

I arrived there at around 12:30... so I guess it was run early during the tuner's cup (muss ja eigentlich, sonst wär da ja der aufgewirbelte Staub drauf zu sehen...)?

Or even worse, after the Drift Competition (when I left because I thought there weren't many more interesting things going on)?

Well, at least the Sound of the 996 turbos was soooo sweet when I was standing in the pit lane...

what a bummer m8, you´re right CGT has been the supporting programme of the "Tuner GP", right before the "GT-class" started...
but hey, you´re from germany, maybe you can arrange a visit at Leipzig plant, and with some luck you can see some CGT´s at their track there...

Porsche can be dumb at times.. for example...

LOL..
As we all know the Porsche Cayenne is designed to raise $$$$$ so that the there is enuf $$$ to invest in the race cars...
i personally love the cayenne ... if i had to buy an suv it would be the turbo
BUT

Porsche came to my country where an average person earns $1000 a year... and launed the Cayenne..
well your probably thinking whats dumb? well, the cheapest one costs umm around 80000$ and the turbo is a whopping 200000$ (two hundred thousand) US dollars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
the high price is basically tariffs imposed by the GOV.
so far .. only 2 in the country.. and out of those 2 one is owned by the porsche dealer here..
there have been no orders since november 2003.
All the money they spent investing in the launch they could have used it elsewhere...
the joke doesnt stop here .. they launched the suv in a hovercraft.. which they rented out from the navy .. lol.. that apparent costed some 140,000$

hmm.. so i guess porsche is getting really nerdy about making money..

sorry st-anger if i insulted porsche a wee bit.. but if u were living here u would have said the same thing..

(and instead of paying that for a cayenne most ppl buy an Sclass/7series)

Autocar magazine has driven the 997! according to their website, it's in this week's magazine. Does any1 have that mag, or could any1 buy it? That'd be great!

all the decent german car mags have already driven the 997 ( mainly the "S" ) and they all loved it...

St. Anger, I am quite impressed with your service in Stuttgart. We received our 911Tone month in advance and she is AMAZING. Im cropping the photos now because they are too big at the moment.
