Default Top Gear : S8 EP7 : 23rd July, 2006 - Discussion

Jeremy and The Stig race two Caterham 7s around a circuit in Scotland, but Jeremy needs to build his own car from scratch first. Richard and James road test the Ford S-max, the Mercedes B200 turbo and the Vauxhall Zafira VXR - three family cars that promise a bit of excitement. The star in the reasonably priced car is Steve Coogan.

While those three cars may be on the boring side, it's Richard and James testing them, so don't put anything past them haha. I mean they made a review on the Smart, fun (when they lived in it for a day).

The 2 next episodes don't include extraordinary cars I wonder what will be the result ...

I had a bad feeling about this series since episode one :/ It seems that BBC has taken into the odd letter from viewers requesting features of everyday cars. Bring back the tire shredding Top Gear !!

Hmm.... Coogan again!

I remember well, when he and Jeremy took the Aston Vanquish and the Ferrari 575M out - he proved to be a good wheelman.

No exciting cars, so far, but the Caterham build promises to be funny :good:

And what about the M6 that showed up in the trailer of the season ??

I'm still waiting to see a 599 GTB, an LP640, 911 Turbo or GT3 in the last episodes of this season

I wouldn't totally rule out the fact that this will be a "bad season" from a supercar point of view because from what we've seen in the past TG seasons usually go out with a bang. There's the Ariel Atom 300 review from a while baack, the Lambo Murci Roadster, and most recently the Bugatti Veyron in the last season.
