Default Trip to Montreal (996TT, S55, Gallardo, GT350)

Hey guys!

Last weekend me and some friends drove down to Montreal for a halloween party and to check out the city. We left Friday and returned Sunday. The trip was a blast and we're thinking of going back soon (maybe on the 25th of this month for DJ Tiesto). I'm actually thinking about moving to Montreal. Anyway...here are a few pics:

We saw a bunch of nice cars on the way:
S55 AMG

996 TT

Shelby GT 350

Gallardo in Montreal (he nailed it when he saw us taking pics)

S60R

And we saw a ton more nice cars in downtown but didn't have a camera with us.

We stayed in an appartment downtown:

Panoramic view of the city:

Tourist Centre:

Sunday morning we were woken up by a damn helicopter transporting building materials from the top of a building to another:

And a superfluously fluorescent sunset (must be the ozone layer going to the shits):

I hope you enjoyed the pics!

Well...make sure you bring winter clothes. It gets daaaamn cold. Unfortunately, I didn't get to check much of the city as we only had a day to do that. The party we went to (had bought tickets in advance) turned out to be in the gay district so it was full of ...gays and drag queens, which was quite an experience. We didn't mind it, since we went there with our girlfriends anyway. The unisex bathroom was quite an experience aswell. Smoking inside and finding alcohol anywhere was another bonus.

It's the reason why I don't have anything to envy of a certain place called Yorkville...

I'm glad to know that you appreciate the city like many people around the world.
Have a nice DJ Tiesto show.

You are very well informed Dani, The Montréal subway is one of the biggest project of the city realized jointly with the 1967 "Universal exposure". This is the same exposure that your beautiful city of Barcelona also received. As you said so well, with all the soil they built the Notre-Dame island. It has been an excellent initiative because since several years we have an amusement park, a Casino and especially an F1 racing track.

About the cold weather, Quebecers which doesn't like cold temperature generally stay in Florida (We call them Snowbirds ). But like many Nordic places around the world, it's not a problem when you practice some winter activities such snowboarding, skiing, ice-skating and snowmobiling...

LOL !

It was really pleasant to meet you for my first JW meeting. It was very interesting to speak with an Audi fan who is so well informed about cars...Thanks to your excellent secret source.

I hope to have the chance to see you again at the next North America Auto Show in Motor City.

The best period of the year to doing that is in the F1 Grand Prix week in june, the entire city beats at the rhythm of the F1 spirit and there are tons of exotic cars exposures. :good:
