Default New RAM and memory dumps.....

Afternoon all. I needed to upgrade my system before I get an overhaul mid 2005. So I scrounged some spare 256mb pc133 SDRAM (don't laugh!) to make 512mb (my mother board is limited to this). After I put in the new memory the c omputer can run for around 10 mins then there is a memory dump, blue screen crash, whatever you want to call it.

My question is, is there any way around this? Or do I have to live with 256mb. My Mother board is made by TriGem Computers Inc. It is based around the i854 chipset. Or is the Sdram buggered?

Download Memtest86+ from http://www.memtest.org/

Get the bootable ISO and burn it to CD. Then run the memory test to see if your new ram is faulty.
