Default 2005 Opel Astra OPC

Because there isn't any Opel section at the Ultimate Pic Topic, so I post here...
a 2.0 litre inline-4, turbocharged, 240 HP, 0-60 in 6,4 sec
this maybe Golf GTI killer. But still I choose Golf anyday...

looks rather nice, actually much more interesting than the bland looking Golf, though I'd rather have a Civic Type R over both of them 8)

Thats astra looks way better than the TypeR and Golf, and with 240bhp, probably goes alot faster too. Also that is definatly not rice!!!!

Not really rice

0-60 in 6.4 secs
A nice car. It's going to be dadged the VXR over here, and at only £18k a bargain (for the performance) And quality is supposed to be up in the new Astra, and it looks much more interesting than a Leon Cupra R, the (more expensive) Golf GTi and the others 8)

Never thought I'd say this about an Astra but the interior is really nice. And yes I also think it looks way better than the Golf GTI, not to mention it's faster..

Very nice looking Opel, thanx Oantob And its NOT rice
Its Irmsher's tuning, right? As AMG to MB and M to BMW its official tuner, right. They did horable job in the past as I remeber but now improved alot
I dont think that it is as good as GTi but close to it.

It sooooo much better looking then the GTi or the Type R, I'd take this any day over the other 2 with 240hp why wouldn't you?

I love this segment... I wish it was more prevalent in the states.

Well on the spec sheet the Astra does have higher numbers than the typeR. If its able to put its power on the ground as good as a TypeR I dont know, regardless the situation, I'd still have the astra.
