If it's a test mule for the F60 powerplant that's pretty sneaky putting it in the 612. I'd be surprised if it's a new powerplant for the 612 because it's my understanding that they don't sell as well as other models. But what do I know? Cool find, man! It'll be interesting to see what this ends up being.

Wouldn't surprise me either. Didn't they use a modified 348 to test the Enzo's engine? I don't think anyone knew a thing either until the Enzo came out and that car was put up on the auction block.

^Works for the Skyline.

Precisely what stops me thinking it's a test mule for a new supercar engine.

^^ why would they test an engine on a rolling chassis .... everything can be simulated in one of their hi fi labs ...
andd if its only the engine they are testing .. why are the body pannels covered ..
they could've tested the engine without anyone knowing

Yep, definitely hard to believe it's the future MR supercar's engine, tested i FR setup... true they used a modified 348 for the Enzo, but with the engine in the correct place at least.

the Enzo's engine is in the 612 and 599, why wouldn't they test the F60's in an FR?? If it was the chassis they were testing it would be different... but apparently there are no other physical changes in the 612...
