Default 69 Mustang Mach 1

Hey everybody, i'm new to this forum and i just wanted to ask for some advice on this project im doin. I have a 69 Mach 1 Mustang that had a 351W in it but I took that out and put a 514 ci crate motor in it with 630 hp. I want to eventually drag race it but I dont know any of the requirements for safety and all that stuff. I already put an 8 point roll cage in, frame braces, master shut off switch, and thats all i know of. Any advice would be good.

Thx
Mitch

welcome that sounds like a bad ass ride! fuel cell, drive shaft safety loop, any lines leading to oil and fuel ,tranny, if it's rubber line it can not be over 12inches if so it has to be aluminum or braided, overflow catch can for radiator, helmet, gloves, if your fuel cell is in the back with the battery you must have a fuel cutoff switch, and battery cut off switch also a firewall that is aluminum, rollcage has to be certified, dam there is a lot of shit!!! suit, boots A lot keep it up and show us some clips of your ride when you are done!

go to your pic, right click on it go to properties and copy the url and paste it here, I think that should do it. or just use the img tags!

you don't need that much shit, it all depends on what speeds you will be running and what your local track says you need and you definitely don't have to replace your steel firewall with a weaker aluminum one that will flex and heat up much easier than your original.
