Default My car untill February the 9th

As most of you know, I was caught speeding, so no license for one month... this sucks, but in Switzerland you can still drive a car limited to 45kmh and it's the only country in the world I think.. so here it is my mistress while the 320i rests...

A shiny Smart ForTwo with top speed located somewhere between 45 and 50!!!

And if interested, here is a little video of a 0^50^0 kmh test did this morning LOL: http://www.ks-creations.net/temp/smart.zip (1.5 MB). It actually picks up speed like a normal Smart would, but once at 50 the limiter cuts in and you are brought back between 45 and 50 as I said.. and you are stuck there with usually another car less than 30 cm from your backend.

In town you actually don't notice at all, but as soon as you are on a stretch of road limited to just 60 kmh, let alone 80, you feel embarassed and the horizon seems not to come closer at all!
At leat I don't have to rely 100% on public transportation or on my legs

Next time I will have to be more carefull on the highway

Wierd. Isn't it dangerous to drive on the highway with a 45km/h top speed. What if you need to overtake in an emergency situation ?

Anyway have fun it has a nice speedo

Of course you are not allowed to drive on the highway since the min allowed speed there is 60 kmh. I meant I will have to pay attention next time in the 320i when I will have my license back

I'm sorry to hear about your license, I hope it happend before 1st of Jan.2005 (new laws -> higher bills)

Additional info: These cars (basically any car regulated/limited to 45km/h) even allows to drive with an age of 16! with 18y you can make the driving test and get your license

Yes, it happened the 11th of November, I am just a bit worried since the bill still didn't arrive and I wonder if they waited to judge it for the 2005 to come and apply the new laws since they are partially retroactive as far as I know I expect something in the 1000 CHF range, but not sure really sinceit varies for every kanton.. it was in Solothurn BTW

oh man.. thats quite funny.. i find it kind of nice of the swiss government to still allow people to drive on public roads with a suspended license.. i just recently found out i have a court date for 2 tickets i got over a year and a half ago which i have not paid... kind of scared to see what NY State will do to me

Waatt TT how can u survive that lol. The reason for them allowing it is because that is A PUNISHMENT! Acceleration must be awful! How much time before you can get back driving on ur beemer?
