I've been saying this for .... how long?

Too bad I think its not entirely a clandestine move for the porkers... just a means of making VAG pay for the cost of development of larger market cars that PAG wish to sell to "Greater masses" then the niche 911's and such...

Prosche takes control over VW and FORD loses Jag and Land-Rover. We can expect that in some (long) years Porsch will become huge and succesful corporation gonna lose on quality (like VW is losing now - new passat RUBBISH!) ang will end up like the others (GM, D-C, Toyota now it at its peak). Or maybe... being faithfull to own roots gonna pay off. But again Cayenne and Panamera are not...

Toyota is well past its peak as far as build quality goes.

Anyway, I like what the VW group does and I'd hate to see Porsche foul things up with their premium pricing approach. Audi performance models would likely be made to play second fiddle to the appropriate Porsche models. bleh
