Default 07 Philly Auto Show

Here are some pics from the Philly Auto Show Press Day. I had more but one of my memory chips died somehow after I took photos on it and I can't retrieve them. But at least I got to sit in the Audi R8 which has to have one of the best driving positions i've ever been in.

Here are some of the photos.

Nice pics!

Sorry to hear about your memory card...

Pretty dark pics, not much light I guess? Nevertheless they look nice!

Love the S8 and the Lambo's, great colours!

The bentleys looks stylish as ever in black!

My favorite pic is the Lotus combo shot!

Yeah lighting at the philly show is always horrible for pictures, and was even worse in some areas since they where still getting the place ready for the public.

Thanks for the pictures. Holy smack, they let you sit in the R8?!?! They showed it here in Los Angeles too a few months ago, but no one could get near it.

Lucky you!

Yeah the audi representative was very cool, i think me and my dad where the only two people that got to sit in the car(maybe 1 or 2 more did max). We also found out that Audi is going to destroy all the cars including the R8 after the show season since they don't have vin numbers and aren't street legal because of that.

So your father was the one that was talking my ear off at the show. The irony of it being another jw member. Small world.

I sat in the new XKR and the R8. The fun of press day.

Anyway.. heres something you probably wont find anywhere else. Inside the new xkr, and under the hood. The things you find unlocked hidden in the corners of press day.

Anyway.. R8

They say that but they usually end up at training centers and other schools like the ones we have with no vins.

That sucks about your memory card, but cool pics of the R8, and that's awesome they let you sit in it. I sure hope they don't destroy it, that would be such a waste. They could give it to me... Thanks for the pics. 8)

B.S. they will not destroy the cars. The Audi representative have forgot to inform you that Audi R8 as several Audi models presented in many car show in North America are "showcar only" and they will be shipped after their exposure in a technical depot in Germany at Ingolstadt (A3,A4,A6,A8,S4,S6,S8 ) and Neckarsulm (RS4,R8 ).
