Default Ferrari F430 Challenge Official Info.

From the owners site:

The 61st Frankfurt International Motor Show

9/17/2005 - 9/25/2005

Frankfurt
The 61st Frankfurt International Motor Show will be the venue for the unveiling of the new F430 Challenge.

Once again the Prancing Horse has exceeded even its own track-loving clients’ expectations by developing its latest 8-cylinder model to create yet another Ferrari dream car, the F430 Challenge.

For the 2006 season this new 483-bhp single-series racing car will initially compete alongside the 360 Challenge, subsequently replacing the outgoing model. Ferrari’s engineers are currently developing the new model and initial results are already extremely positive – the 1,200 kg car has been timed at 1’18” around Fiorano. That’s 2 seconds faster than the 360 Challenge!

The F430 Challenge is intended to exalt the driving skills of the numerous privateers and gentlemen drivers that race in Ferrari’s highly popular Challenge series, and virtually all forms of electronic driver assistance that feature on the road car – ESP, the manettino and the E-Diff settings - have been removed. The F430 Challenge is thus an uncompromising racing car in the finest Ferrari tradition!

Also taking pride of place at the Ferrari stand at Frankfurt will be the F430 Spider and Coupé, the Superamerica and the 612 Scaglietti, making this a unique opportunity to see the company’s latest range of cars.

Any Ferrari clients who wish to avail of exclusive access to the Ferrari stand (in Hall 5) between September 17th and 25th can simply register using the link at the foot of this page. On completion of the form, you will receive a personal invitation (PDF format) which covers access for yourself and a guest. Please print the invitation and present it to the hostesses at the entrance to the stand together with a form of identification (passport, driving licence or similar).

The IAA Motor Show takes place at the Frankfurt Messe trade fair complex (motorway exit: Frankfurt West/Messe) and is open from 9.00-19.00 every day from Saturday 17th September to Sunday 25th. For further information on the event or to reserve your ticket to the Frankfurt Show (not included in exclusive access to Ferrari stand), log on to the Show’s official website at: http://www.iaa.de.

Accommodation information is available from the Frankfurt Tourist Office at http://www.frankfurt-tourismus.de or at the following number: +49 (0) 69212 38800.

The standard F 430 it`s an amazing car , but as it was the case with 360 and 360 Challenge Stradale , the F430 Challenge will be way more focused towards hardcore performance .

I`am sure it`s gonna set the standards in it`s class for years to come.

Yeah, this is for the Challenge races. Not the Challenge Stradale which is the street version of the Challenge.

Can't wait to see what the CS has to offer though. 8)
