tread seperation is not unheard of.. and 8800 miles for tyres on acra that has obviously been beat up on is a lot of miles...
Maybe all that drifting, sliding and gravel work just plain cut the tyre

I'm going to agree with RC here..
what do the other 3 tires look like? Because the one you're showing definetly shows heavy abuse.
The were pattern you're showing is one i see on Z rated tires at about 30-45Kmi under normal use.
I would be willing to bet that there is alot of rubber build up in the fender wells, control arms and strut bases. and more than likely alot of slide marks on the tires themselves.

Now that the pictures show up its simple..
Your tyres are worn.
Period.
You are lucky they never failed catastrophically.
Buy new tyres.
BTW, be aware that SUbaru and Mistubishi have voided warranties based on observed evidence of abuse.

Yep happened to a friend of mine with his Mitsubishi.
In that last photo is looks like its got a fair bit of camber on it or is it just the angle of the photo. Looks like the rears on my Calais before I put a camber kit into it

Some companies engineer seemingly excessive camber into the rear. In theory it's supposed to help with grip in the corners.

Yeah thats it. I know mine was always chopping out the inside of the rears really quick until before i put a kit into it.
Interesting...

well to be honest i havent put it under any "heavy abuse", yea abuse sometimes but nothins stupid, nothing any of you woudnt do...
and actually there is no rubber buildup that i can see of, i only do "abuse" things when its wet, which dont use up the tires as much, in the dry i think of it as too much stress on the car so i just drive "normal", ok a little above normal...
and i didnt know that 9000 miles was lot for the tires because the other tires dont look very worn, ill take some pictures when i get home.
its just weird... well unexpeted, for me at least...

ok i went to the dealship and they told me that it wasnt their probelm it was the tires problem, i went to bridgestone and they told me it was a alignment problem so i needed a new tire (obviouslly). the only problem is that if that i change one tire i need to change all four. and "its nobodys fault", its the alignment fault which "can happen on rough roads, speed bumps or anything". i say this is all BS, i mean how often does this happen.. its not like i drive on a road that everyone else drives on...
o well i need 4 new tires.... what do you recomend... the stock ones they say are 1400 but on tire rack i can get them for around 800, the thing is i need them ASAP. so what should i get?
thanks, i am also looking on IWSTI.com...
thanks!

Tough decision that, but 600 Dollars is a lot of money!
Have you tried getting the price down at bridgestone, or isn't it even worth trying?
