Exiting the freeway to go home. . . guy in front of me slows down considerably. . . apparently ran out of gas. I managed to slow down in time as to not hit him, but the guy behind me didn't and ended up clipping me.

After he clipped me he skidded about 300-400ft away from me, I got out of my car to see if he was okay, before I got close enough to look at his license plate, he took off.

Apparently "Uninsured Motorist" part of the policy does not cover to unidentifiable motorist. Since I have liability only I am ass out.

EDIT: Damn 666. . . you are fast, I didn't even finish typing up the story yet .

Damn that sucks! At least you are ok but it sucks that since the person that hit you is unresponsible, you have to pay.

Yeah, I told the Highway Patrol that it was a late '80s Honda Accord or Prelude, it had flip up headlights. If I had known that he would take off, I would've ran faster up to his car.

Thanks for all the warm wishes everyone.

My neck is a bit stiff, otherwise than that I think I am okay.

wow, he just took off? That's pretty rude...and illegal
Keep your eyes open, you might see him again... bring the shotgun!

Hope you are all okay, hopefully your neck will get better!

That's some pretty bad damage. Is it fixable?

On a side note, I have a friend with the same model, only in a different colour. And he doesn't seem to clean it very often.

Sorry about the news, but what matters is that you're fine. And about the other guy/girl, Karma can be a real bitch so he/she will eventually get what he/she deserves.
