A wildfire is burning out of control in a forest on the tip of the Keweenaw (Key-Win-Aw for out of towners) Peninsula.
The blaze, now 50 acres in size and growing, is located along Keystone Bay on the east side of the peninsula.
According to DNR officials, the fire is in a swampy, rough, rocky area with cedar and conifer trees.
Twenty firefighters are on the scene but they're having trouble containing it due to the terrain. They're worried about a wind shift on Friday night.
Officials say the fire actually re-kindled from a fire a couple of weeks back. It's not certain what caused the original fire.

hope they contain it, it is one of the most beautiful areas in the whole of the Country
good luck to the firefighters up there trying to cope with it.
Imagine putting out a fire in rocky/ruged/mountain terrain, and in the middle of nowhere...
