Default ODB dead at 35

Kind of odd, but whatever. I've been a fan of Wu Tang for a long time, so this kind of sucks. He was goofier than a box of rocks, but he made a living out of it.

I'm not much of a rap fan, but i'm glad he didn't die of an overdose or a shooting llike most music celebs seem to do. RIP to ODB and my condolences to his family and friends.

on a lighter note, this caught my eye on the side bar and brought a small smile to face.

SOAD kicks ass and their live show is simple but killer!

that is very surprissing and unfortunate, who would have thought that ol' dirty would be the next rapper to go.

I remember a Wu Tang video being the first rap vid. I've ever seen. May he rest in peace.

Even though most of us know about OBD's type of lifestyle, it will be interesting to hear from the results of the autopsy. According to the MTV report, he flew from Denver to NY and arrived there at approx. 10 pm. Then he died around 4:30 the next day. That leads me to wonder if died from Deep Vein Thrombosis. That is the condition that can occur when a passenger is flying on an airliner and is sitting down in his/her seat for two hours or more. Deep vein thrombosis occurs when a blood clot becomes lodged in a vein. This can occur through ‘pooling’ of blood in the lower limbs. If the clot breaks away and travels to the lung it can in some cases prove fatal. This disorder is known as a pulmonary embolism or PE.

Yeah, but thats pretty rare. I think its more of a hazard for older people.
It was probably drug related- even if they dont kill you from an overdose, they still weaken your heart, body, etc

Daaamn. Wu Tang was the greatest hiphop band of the last decade, and ODB was without a doubt the most colourful member. Will miss him a lot.

Very sad news. Hip hop in general is going down the toilet. And its sad to lose one of the earlier pioneers in rap. He was a weird guy, but he did have talent back in the day. RIP ODB.
