Default Superbowl in Detroit 2-5-06

its really goofy all the stories of these huge A-list, b-list, and c-list celebrities that are in, and around Detroit... i hope the changes in d-town are more of a perminent nature... downtown is looking better then it has in some time... well, not a whole lot better, as its always been the nice part of detroit... but the work on the highways, cleaning the garbage off the road... its all pretty nice overall... i still dont see any reason besides buisness, ballparks, and concerts to goto detroit... its not really a tourist attraction

mabey after this, the fords will invest in building a good team out of the lions?

I heard something about the city paying to put windows in boarded up buildings... I give it about a week.

im just not sure where all the homeless people have gone??? they usued to be quite a bit more prevalent around the high-volume areas, doing thier begging etc.... i can more easily find them in Ann Arbor then Detroit right now

I believe the city took all of the homeless people on the buss and drove them to pontiac, for the superbowl week.

But the city is much better right now, it would be nice if it would have stayed that way, but unfortunately it probably wont.

I couldn't believe the number of people there was in downtown when i went there today. Must have been couple of thousand.

LMAO.... perhaps they set up shop in the Silverdome

yeah, pontiac is one hell of a shithole... about equally shitty as Flint

funny thing is that Troy and Pontiac are so close.. but troy is far from a shithole.

^^ Steelers aren't going to do shit. You can't run against the Seahawks. Passing game is going to falter as well.

Seahawks are going to control the game 8)

i'll say this... a team that keeps running wears down the defence; and by then by the 2nd quarter... bam

OMG, a friggin interception!
go seahawks!
