IE would open just a bit faster since it's "preloaded" when you start Windows. Mozilla has such feature but it's not available in Firefox afaik.
But once you start the first browser, the load time difference is minimal.

Well, I always wondered what the Mozilla/Firefox lovers were talking about LOL, but I admit for some websites, JW included, Mozilla is quite faster for me... compared to Explorer I mean..
Never tried Firefox myself

Well I'm a Firefox man.
Only use IE when I have to D/L patches from the MS update site, so much too often

I try never to use IE6, just don't like and seems very slow....especially when you use the 'back' button.
My browser of choice is Opera v7.5, its just great and haven't really had any probs since I started using it about 3yrs ago.

Well I don't really notice a difference. It Firefox may load fater than explorer on some sites, but I don't really see a difference. There may be some problems with certain websites if it isn't compatible.

Tabbed browsing is pure heaven (as thamar said).
I'd go with Mozilla, purely for the above reason.

Actually I'm using the mozilla and for me is much better than the explorer, mainly in those sites where there are many images. It's very unusual to see the stupid red X using the Mozilla
