yup yup. all i saw of the title was Datsun and i was in here in an instant 8)

78-83 280ZX 8) hard to tell the specific year just by looking at it though. These are actually my least favorite of the Z run. Overweight and underpowered no thanks to the 80's smog bullshit Aerodynamically more efficient though but way too boxy looking IMO. They lost some of their charm by losing that open grille of the previous 3 generations.

I don't think i covered the ZX line in my Datsun Garage thread. I think i need to go bump that topic up with some more info...i also found a side draft carb. tech article i had printed out a few years back. I just need to get the illustrations on my computer and i'll post them all

I think it's also important to point out that these cars were the last to bear the Datsun name. If you look at their badge on the hatchlid, they actually say Datsun by Nissan 8)

Those hood louvers seem to be borrowed from a 280Z Clean looking little 240 though same year as Jezebelle (My Z in my avatar, sadly no longer mine  ) They look pretty bad ass without their front bumper but they also have a little bit of a "happy" look to them with it. (more apparent when they know they've just cost you $300 in suspension parts )
