This is a question coming from the other side of the Atlantic,so we don't hear much about the 1 over here; is there going to be an actual M version? I think that after the new modular V8 going in the E90 M3, the old 3.2l 6 would go well in the 1...

I really like the car, but the video isn't that great. I thinks it's more like "so, we can afford to get multiple expensive camera's, so let's use all the shots in a really short amount of time".....

M1 isnt a priority. This is what Ulrich Brunhke recently said (translated from german to english

The M1 should go originally namely already beginning 2007 in series, more weakly motorized quasi as an outrider for that coupé-variants that were budgeted first to the model year 2008. The basic data for the M1 are very promising: 3,2-Liter-Sechszylinder, 350 HP, zero until 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds, basis prices 40,000 Euro. Also the design is certain in coarse trains: new front jokes, darkly eloxierte five-star-wheels, large stern wing, other never and germinated.

Yet in the mean time this project enjoys no longer priority. So the 1er-Cabrio is preferred, and with 120ti and 120tis, first once two new strong four cylinder models with 190 and 225 (Turbo-)PS should come. So the top model of the little series would remain the 258 HP of strong 130i – that now in the autumn comes – first of all once. Until then the M1 anrollt. And on this little steam hammer, the fans wait very certainly not in vain.
