According to evo, 6th Gear is good for 315mph!

Awesome idea for topics Nth!!!

Validation: http://www.jabbasworld.net/photopost...rouptest15.jpg (First column, 3rd paragraph down)

edit, found some more crap:

http://www.roadandtrack.com/assets/d...data_panel.pdf

Road & Track has a very in-depth test, and this one also included the SRT-10 Coupe, so whenever that topic comes around we can use the data panel over there too...

Gear/Ratio/Overall/(RPM) MPH

1st; 1...2.66/9.10/(7000)61
2nd; 1...1.78/6.09/(7000)91
3rd; 1...1.30/4.45/(7000)125
4th; 1...1.00/3.42/(7000)162
5th; 1...0.74/2.53/est (6300) 198
6th; 1...0.50/1.71/na* -> (7000)315***
Final Drive ratio...3.42:1
Engine rpm @ 60mph in top gear: 1300rpm

*=top speed reached in 5th Gear
***=evo's claim

My bad, fogot to add that in. It was the one and only Leguna Seca.

The R&T article Sentra dude is talking about, I have it. I'll scan it in and post it tomorrow.

Default Wet weight of Z06

I scan this out of EVO. They weighed the Z06 with all fluids and a full tank of fuel and got 1443kg. They also calculated the power to weight ratio according to the measured weight.

Some more 0-60mph performance times -

Motor Trend - 3.5 seconds
"We bolted our own test equipment to a car at GM's Milford Proving Ground and found it had grunt enough to hurl this 3147-pound coupe to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds"
http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/...z06/index.html

Car and Driver - 3.6 seconds (October 2005)
"A few days after our trip, we took a Z06 to GM's Milford proving ground and tested it. It ripped to 60 mph in only 3.6 seconds, hit 100 in 7.9, and 150 in 17.5."
http://www.caranddriver.com/roadtest...z06-page2.html

Car and Driver - 3.4 seconds (December 2005)
"We're still buzzing over the Z06's ferocious 3.4-second burst to 60 mph. That's two-tenths quicker than the Z06 we tested in October."
http://www.caranddriver.com/comparis...vette-z06.html

*The Car and Driver bit from October also has 0-100mph and 0-150mph times
