sometimes, you cant get the torrents (you do not have permission....) But that is because your firewall is on. I have to disable norton whenever I want to get those .torrents

If you like simpsons, you can have fun with bitTorrent here...

slow speeds, however, you can get anything that you want! Torrents come out first than files shared in kazaa shareza etc.

For me Bittorrent is fairly fast. Its faster than edonkey, but stuff comes out on edoneky first so I use it.

Try getting rare movies of kazaa lite. You will finde 1 person sharing it at the most. On the other hand, torrents are more widely spread. I dload at 150kb from bt even though I have a 2mb per sec dload stream. 150kb is all I need. Cant complain. Just go to sleep and next day its there. Besides, using 150 of my 2500 kb dload rate lets me brows webpages while dloading. Kazaa sucks up all the connection speed it can.

You need to set up port forwarding through your router to get better download speeds, it makes a very big difference. I'd give the link, but www.suprnova.org won't load for now. Check the BT Faq at the site.

never used norton firewall, but isn't somehow configurable? all you have to do is let the bittorrent client out, and allow incomming connections to it on some ports (by default on these: 6881-6999).
