Not Bad!
I have the Jem7DBK, IMO better pickups than the Evolutions, and the neck is better than the VWH (2mm thinner). The philips head inlays are actually pretty cool, and you don't look like a total Vai-wannabe when you play it. As for a custom pic, I'll get one up as soon as I can, but my guitar is in Los Angeles, and I am in Athens, so it won't be 'till august, unless I can get my friend who is watching my guitars to take it.
As for the differences with the RG, the back of neck feels a little smoother, the fretwork is also much higher quality (the neck is incredibly fast), and the DiMarzio Breed pickups are EONS ahead of the Ibanez units, much more detailed tone and a lot hotter.
Right now, this is the only pic I got.

Only because its the only one I have (everytime I have enough money for a better amp, I end up buying a guitar instead), I'd rather have a Mark IV or JCM800 stack.

Impressive! The 5th Caprice is pretty hard, especially the sweeping thing at the begginning. I'm more of an octodigital tapping guy than a sweeping guy (Read: I can't sweep worth shit). I'm gonna see if one of my friends has a digicam or webcam so I can show you what I mean, though It'll have to be on the strat. Once I have the video where can I get it hosted?

so, are you a fan of the yngwie transcription of the 5th, Jason Becker's 5th, or Steve Vai's 5th? i lean towareds Jason becker myself... that guy was beyond a god
cho, your a sweeper!!?? i ve only known 2 people near my age who can sweep!!! (including myself) i never thought it hard to hit the sweeping arpeggios... and it induces a very intersting sound by itself
jpatino: yes, im quite familiar with flat finger, and it does help... tremendously.

Well, I'm gonna go play with my old band later today, and we might be filming. If we do, I'll get it up ASAP. Tell me how you want me to send you the vids. Also, I'd be more than willing to help out with the music section. Right now I've Vai's live at the Astoria DVD, as well as some Dream Theater, Yes, and Pink Floyd DVD's that I could rip, I've also got G3, but you already have it.

intruiging
crossroads is a good film, i hope youve seen the entire flick (karate kid lmao)
another good virtuoso film i have ripped is an interesting film of a piano player called "the legend of 1900" quite enjoyable Jazz/Ragtime duel that i greatly apprecated with so many layers of music... minor harmonics, conjoined with penetonics, dorian modes etc. all overlayed on a chromatic climax... im getting carried away lol
