1/8 mile? These adhoc battles are pointless. As you see they didnt even get to practice the courses so it is not a measure of the car or the driver.

Name any motorsport that does not allow for practice and course learning?

Neither car or driver had a chance to really show their potential.

I would much rather see the cars/drivers go head to head after they learn the track layouts.

As much as we bash on the BM battles, at least all the drivers know the tracks very well, so it is a better measure of the cars.

What a weird and silly show. Real potential perhaps; but execution is horrid... not even good at creating "drag racing" drama. They should watch 2 lane blacktop for inspiration.

They have non-car guys try to tell them how to spice it up or how to "make it interesting" for the non-car audience.

Thats why I love Best Motoring (I hate the bias though) - it is by car guys for car guys.

nth, when are we going to get the backing to make our US-based Best Motoring empire??

Best motoring of course has bias for japanese cars just because they are japanese that is only normal.
