Default Formula One facts???

does anyone know any formula one facts??
such as some of the history of formula one, the cost for the car, driver, team.etc
i have to give a presentation on tuesday on a subject of my choice for a class i am doing, i decided to do F1 so if anyone knows anything and would like to share, it would be greatly appreciated.

thanks very much, this is something like i was looking for.
and is it true that a driver loses 10 pounds in a race due to dehydration and what not??

Yeah, in Malaysia they loose up to 10pounds of fluid.
