Sweet!... I wish there was more online info about Killarney Race track.

I last rode on that track in 1994, a couple weeks before I moved to the US..

In fact, being such a gear head and speed freak, I agreed to sell my CBR400RR to the guy who bought it, only if he let me thrash it around the track for one last session... Which I did, and they trailored the bike away to it's new home that afternoon.

Back on Topic:

That track is a very short and bumpy demanding track, and I can tell you those Porsches take some balls to throw around on that track at high speeds.

You see those tall gum trees behind the pits? They line the back straight away

So a get off or wreck can see you wedged into a 60ft tall gum tree

Hi RC45, perhaps you can come back and visit some time, and take an RC45 around the track this time ...

I am editing an in-car video taken from inside a Porsche on a Club track day, with a superimposed map in the lower corner (like they have on the telly).
So watch this space. I'll need to find somewhere to host though ...

I have just posted another (short) video clip of a Ferrari going off at Turn One - perhaps Table Mountain will bring back memories for you?

Thanks RC45, I might take you up on the offer - but don't hold your breath, it'll be a while before I have finished the editing. So much to do ...

Here's another Porsche in the Western Cape ... a 968 cabriolet. 8)
(IMHO, one of the most underrated Porsches)
