No good for a first bike.

You want your first bike to be a neutral style handling UJM that will let you learn the basics of bike control.

A chopper, or harley style cruiser is no way to learn about bike control. You want something light enough to and stable enoughto keep you learning, not wondering if all bikes are bad hadling overweight non-stopping lumps of pig iron.

An SV600 is the ideal first bike... great all rounder - forgivving enough to be a platform of learning, and cheap enough to not make you cry when you crash it.
