Default M. Night Shyamalan's The Happening will be the worst movie ever (spoilers)

It's about plants killing humans using wind.

And it's rated R. And it cost $57 million US. And it has Marky Mark as the lead character. And it's not a comedy.

Previews at the theatre looked interesting. I was hoping he was going to get better rather than worse on his next one.

Oh. I forgot to mention that the plants are killing people as a retribution for all the enviromental damages we've caused.

wow . . . and to think that a friend of mine joked about the mysterious killing force being global warming . . . and it ultimately was!

Like the Attack of the Killer Tomatoes... without the humor.

Here are the links for the "The happening".. Certainly appears that it will live up to Heil's description as worst movie of all time! :

Ok I saw it last night. Apparently no one saw the bad reviews. It was sold out at the 10:00 show so I had to wait till 10:40. The theatre was packed.

It is not the worst movie ever made. My friend thought it was, but I reminded him of a few worse ones.

I would give it a C. Remember I like movies.

Seemed kind of cheaply made. Certainly does not show lots of money being spent like Indiana Jones and the Crystal Scull.

It really seems to be a rip off of the "Birds" but not as well done.

Yeah plants killing humans in self preservation because of global warming. "a red tide on land"

Didnt see "Lady in the Water" so I dont know how it compared but it was certainly not as good as "Village"

Zooey Deschanel is pretty to look at but unfortunately she is not given enough to say and is acting in a drama so her natural comedy talent is not put to good use.

It did 12 million US on Friday alone. More than expected. I suspect word of mouth will reduce Saturday and Sunday. It only got a 13% on Rotten Tomatoes. Hulk got like 82% and did 20 million US on Friday.

That trailer makes it look like it is going to be a jumpy film, with you on the end of your seat. Well personally I did not feel that way at all. I went and watched it last night with a few friends since we had nothing better to do.
I do not think all that money they pumped into it showed at all. I can not recall one thing that looked really amazing and looked like millions of Dollars were spent on it.
I though it was a bit pointless by the end. I did not enjoy the ending at all. Seemed they run out of idea or something.
Overall I dont think this was a very good Movie, I think I should have saved my money and waited for something else.
