I have a few favorites : 'The Andromeda Strain', ' Sink the Bismark!', for a movie that was made in the mid-40's, this black and white war movie had some some terrific special effects. 'Force 10 from Navarone' Every time this movie is on TV, I have to sit down and watch the whole thing. 'The Longest Day'- The story of the D-Day event. 'LeMans' A Steve McQueen movie. The most excellent racing movie IMO. If you haven't seen it. Get it.

Another one is 'The Mechanic' A Charles Bronson assassin film. Another one is 'The Driver'. Almost forgot- Jimmy Stewart's movie- 'Strategic Air Command' A little cheesy but the movie features some excellent footage of SAC's front line aircraft of the 40's and 50's. And since Mr. Stewart was a distinguished pilot of the USAAF and the USAF, he had carte' blanche access to Air Force stuff.
