Default My pics from Sundays Las Vegas NASCAR Race.

I figured there are at least a few NASCAR fans here.

Enjoy.

Thanks for the pics sean, always appreciate 'action' racing shots, beit gokarts, cars, trucks whatever

In the last couple of pictures I see it must have been quite a sunny day, a few of the spectators have red necks...

As much as we like to knock NASCAR, these guys are still hurtling around at 200mph in a racecar next to concrete walls.. so they goota either have some nads or a little skill..

Not to mention the fucker who comes in last place still pockets about $40,000 a race...

Wow. I'm in the wrong job.

Yes I agree, they must have some serious skill to keep it together at that kind of pace. I find anything over about 140 and my mind cannot keep up with the speed I am driving, too much happening too fast, if that makes sense. I guess its training, and cojones...

to get that last place check, all you need to do is qualify for the race

Great pics 67MUSTANG, you seemed to be able to get some great angle! Generally i find NASCAR to be quite dull, but good points being made about the fact that those guys must have balls of steel.

I didn't realise they get paid so much, if the last-placed driver gets 40K then what the hell does the winner get?!

The standings after 3 races into the season: NASCAR is an amazingly profitable business - just like Football, Baseball, Soccer etc - where you have a league of fans who can just about make each months credit card bills turning up to watch people earn more per game/race/event than they each make per year...
