The Tunnel..... Wow.... just WOW....
What a road! The best road I've ever driven... and fortunate enough to chase a few true sportscars, and an amazing supercar... I will go back and do something special for that road at some point... hopefully later this summer.... we'll see.
I haven't been on it in at least 12 years, and I forgot how fun it is (well, I wasn't driving, or even a learners permit.. who am I to think of at that time LOL)
The tunnel is quite literally like a european tarmac rally special stage.... well, a few of them really... amazing road quality, amazing drive.... very dificult to keep up with the CGT and Noble... but, the Jeep didn't do "badly" but... I was pushing much harder then they were .... the tires showed it later with scrubbed rubber on the fronts. (yeah, jeeps aren't made for that.... at all)
What was it you said, Tim ... something like "The body roll from one turn was used to give a better entrance setup going into the next turn"
Sorry for poor quality photo... but, as alluded to above, I was concentrating far more on driving then taking photos.

Wakary, this road is in northwest michigan, from Harbor Springs to Cross Village.
It is a 2 way street  so stay in your lane!

I suppose the road is quite popular among sport car owners, since you managed to see already a Noble and the CGT?
Can you find the road from Google maps to us?

I wasn't just keeping up with them, they are friends of mine, and we went to the tunnel of trees together... a mere 4 hour drive north of where we live (our general vicinity)
There are a lot of good roads I know, and have driven on.... and they are in fact in the USA
This one is just the best far and away... I'd like to compare it vs. some roads in cali, and the Tail of the Tragon... among other places, like West Virginia, and Colorado.

Wow, nice road. Would have been pretty surreal to drive through.
