Quite impressive considering the 600hp, 2500lb Mosler MT900S takes 11 flat. Then again, the Ultima has 720hp and weighs a hair under 2200lb, so it's not that surprising haha.

Another thing to note is that they removed the Ultima's wing for the runs (unlike what is shown in the top photos), so that would cut down on drag significantly.

Either way, the Ultima 720 is a damn impressive machine, too bad it's so ass ugly haha.

Meh, I'm not a fan in the least of its looks, but I can forgive it because it's a monster haha. I would love to have that engine in a Mosler instead personally (which would work considering they use the same Chevy V8 ).

It's not really beautiful but it's very efficient, so much that it was chosen as test mule for the Macca

Ehhh, efficient only goes so far, a car needs to have at least a drop of style in my opinion. If you gave the Mosler the 720hp engine out of the Ultima, instead of the 600hp it comes with, that performance gap would probably get pretty slim.

Pretty much. I would love to have a TVR as well, and it's common knowledge that they're not exactly the most reliable vehicles out there. Same can be said for Aston Martin, but would I turn down a Vantage? Fuck no.

If I want to lap faster than anything out there, I'll go buy a Radical SR8 or something of the like.

ok, you are a poseur then.... and while I can't respect that, I also cannot hope to change that opinion

and yes Dani, it is even better then a Z06 price/perfomrance

Haha I'm a 'poseur' because I'd rather have something else before an Ultima? Yea, God forbid I should not want a car that you like

Grow the fuck up.

given:
you would rather have the Mosler then an Ultima

why?
it looks better

given:
both cars are extremely uncomfortable hardcore racers for the street

given:
the Mosler is notoriously unreliable

why you choose the Ultima over the Mosler is beyond me

Considering the engine in both cars is just an LS series Chevy, the standard performance of the engine really isn't a factor as the aftermarket for the engine is massive. Any power differences could be easily taken care of.

Reliability wise, well that's not exactly an uncommon factor among supercars, so I couldn't care less really considering a car like the Mosler or Ultima would most certainly not be an everyday car.

And so what if I'd rather have a car that appeals to me more than the other in terms of aesthetics? I'd love to have a 250 GTO as well, but hey I guess that makes me a poseur because the Ultima is faster eh?
