Default PGR2 Downloadable Content 2

Hey guys. The second set of Project Gotham 2 Racing downloadable content came out like last week. Again, it costs $5USD or $7CDN plus tax to download. It features 8 new tracks set in the city Long Beach California and 8 new cars. Here are pictures I took of all the new cars:

Arial Atom 2

Dodge Hemi Cuda

Dodge Ram SRT-10

Ferrari 612 Scaglietti

Porsche 911(996) GT2 Clubsport

Subaru Impreza 22B

Volkswagon W12 Nardo

Radical SR3

All these cars are great but my favorite would have to be the handmade, widebodied Subaru Impreza 22B with the Porsche GT2 coming a close second. The only thing I don't understand about this update is that the 993 GT2 that was originially in PGR2 is faster in a straight line than the 996 GT2. Is this true in real life? If your wondering, in my opinion, this is a much better update than the Paris one that was released a while back. Anyways, all you xboxers, go download this awsome update.

I've tested all the cars in the new pack and the Radical rocks!!! it will beat the TVR Speed 12 in all the tracks .... except the Nurburgring.

^^^

Yeah.... it's not fair

BTW - Xbox & PS2 prices will probably fall to about £100 in the UK in the next six months, due to big releases such as GT4... so if you don't have a PS2, go out and buy one, when the price drops, along with a copy of GT4 8)

^^^^

If you get live i am sure you will download both anyways

It would be great if you could download the content on the PC, burn it to a CD, dump it to the Xbox hard drive and start up the game using the PGR2 Disc

I want these packages so bad, but refuse to give more money for a game i shelled out £40 for in the first place :x The fact that the free trial i have requires credit card details is another insult... just a ploy to charge you if you forget to cancel it at the correct time.

Bill Gates is a shit :fist:

[EDIT] As for the pics in the first post... it seems the Ariel Atom was the quickest... taking only 13secs to park up

Is it not true that the cars can only be used on Live!?

Are the downloads tied to your account, as in once their system credits you, you can always have access to the content, or will you get charged each time you re-download (as in someone deleted your PGR2 game ect) ?

All in all screw microshaft on this one.

you can use them yourself not only in live And I'm not sure if you have access to them if you erase them somehow. The crappy part is how long it takes to download them it takes forever.

I believe you can only use them online and time laps . My question is, if i get LIVE for a month and then after the month i cancel it. Are the cars still avaliable after LIVE isn't connected?

Damn, i hate the way they set this up. They should just sell the damn cars and tracks on a disk :x
