Just read about a free media files hosting service at http://www.ourmedia.org/

The site seems to be very slow right now, can barely get past the front page. Not 100% sure about their policy.

has some weird bandwidth rules, like you're only allowed to download a certain amount of bytes each day, but using proxies you can get around it.

I heard that they're all run by law enforcement agencies , and they are recording who uploads what...

one day everyone using their services is going to be in trouble
