Now take that fact and apply it to the symbol chart.... what do you notice about the relationship between the symbols and the result of the above bit 'o math?

The ONLY symbol you will ever pick is the same as whatever #9 is (which is 10: 10 - (1 + 0) = 9) - no matter what pair of numbers you pick from 10 to 99, you will always end up with the symbol that 9 has.

That, along with the symbols changing every time (so you *think* it's always guessing the right one) makes it look like it can read your mind.
