758 HP Nissan Patrol
Hey guys..
I found this heavely modified pic of a Nissan patrol on an arabic messageboard..
http://www.speed4ever.com/vb/showthread.php?t=4833
Let me give you a little bit on the car as standard..
It comes with a V6 4.8l engine producing 280 HP RWD with a level to switch it to 4WD.. that's about it..
On this one well it got a full engine rebuild and a T88 turbo. The guy spended about $40,000 on the engine .
It was tested on the dyno at only 1.5 bar and AWD and got an amazing number of 785.6hp and it can go a lot more than that in boost and imagine is they put it on rwd only.
They tested it against a modified MB E55 with the E55 producing 620 hp and the Nissan won ..
Some pix..

^^^ rather looks like a jet engine to me 8) This is insane indeed, but i wouldnŽt spend that much in tuning such a car... IŽd rather take a Touareg or Cayenne

silviaevo - it's a turbocharger. it's in the description - "T88 turbo" i dunno what model that is, but it's f'in huge.
and yeah.... "why?" - id much rather spend my mulah on something else, but whatever floats your boat. (maybe the owner got a really good deal on it? anyone who can read arabic translate from the link?) it must be pretty cool to drive and offroad in.

For people who go to the deasert and like to climb thoes huge sand dunes this is the car to do it with.. We got heck a lot of nissan with a turbo on them. I personally drove one with 400 HP or something like that and it was really fun.. Yeah it is dangerous but even a ferrari is dangerous
And come on it's a sleeper.. except for the huge intercooler upfront and the cooling vents on the hood. No Pourche , ferrari or lambo would expect this big thing to put run it on the straights..

Just wondering, but are you sure that's a V6? It really looks like a I6 from the spark plugs and intake manifold.
Very awesome by the way, and I love that its a manual! 8)

Well it's a process.. first you brake the gear box.. replace it with a heavy duty one.. then the diff.. then then you hit a car doing 200 km/h then change the brakes to sport brakes.. and when you flip the car.. well it's an SUV.. what do you expect.. ..
