Is it the GTP or one of the normal ones? and does it have that bullshit fingertip shifting as Pontiac calls it.

That fingertip shifting system is absofuckinglutely horrible. It's like a child's plaything. I hate hate HATE the fact that it'll only let you shift when the computer thinks it's alright to do so. What the hell is that Pontiac?!

It's so morons that shouldn't be driving a shift car anyway don't destroy their cars. It really is just a toy. But the one BMW tiptronic that I've driven was the same way; sluggish, and it would shift even if you didn't shift it. For what it's worth it was an X5, which is certainly not a performance vehicle.

I've tried the pontiac one and the BMW SMG and the BMW was an M3 so I'm sure it was better than the X5(I didn't know it even had SMG) but yes it does have safety features so you don't fuck up your car and the Pontiac would have made me return it for a normal automatic any day it was soo fucking horrible I was asking the dealer what was wrong with it and he said that's how it was suppposed to work and I just tried not to laugh my ass off right there in the car.
