I find the Evo and Autocar and other British mags always build up Ferraris to be the greatest thing since sliced bread in the inidividual tests or even in comparison tests but when it comes to car of the year competition they always put a Porsche up front with some lame reasons why the Porsche is better.

I was hurt when they stiffed the CS despite it beating the GT3-RS in the comparison tests.

I think those guys are on the Porsche payroll

^^

Same here.

These guys are weird. I really don't understand how the Boxster S was placed so low, since pretty much all other magazines consider it a great driver's car. Same for the Exige. But what do I know... :bah:

Also weird how the wet lap time in the F430 is so slow, especially since traction should be above average with the active differential... Tyres maybe...?

Or maybe Porsche just makes terrific cars? evo magazine isnt the only one that raves about them, just about everyone does... The standard Carrera wasnt that well ranked a few years ago...

I can't deny that Porsche is the best all around sports car despite it's bland yet historical styling, but can we all agree that the AMV8 looks the best but also had the best sound?
(i understand the ferrari lovers wouldn't dare say that )

Edit: The reason the Ford GT beat out the Ferrari is because it's a lot simpler and gives you a better mechanical feel for the car, and electronics will always take you away from the feel of a car, thats why JC loves the F40 so much.
