Default what is the story behind the Jaguar XJB?


I previously havn't heard of it, and it looks like a bently logo is on it...???

It seems quite common on those versions :



For me, it's just a kind of decoration added in order to hide the holes (the "plate lights" are on this place on other ones, as you can see below)

i was hoping you'd help D_type i couldn't find anything on the car in any formal orgainization on the web; i wasn't aware that Jag was owned by Daimler at the time either... most Benzes i run into from the time period are in great electrical order... i wonder if the same would be true of the Jags?
